One more update on JJ....

J went into surgery about 2pm and he was so happy. The doctor came around 4pm and said everything went well but they couldn't use the screws and had to put 3 pieces of wire around the bone instead. Which also means that after they are sure he is healing well he has to have another surgery to remove all that. We haven't told him that yet. He was suppose to be able to come home tonight but won't be home until sometime tomorrow. He currently isn't eating well and doesn't want any meds by mouth. He can't go home until he does that. He is asleep more than he is awake which is probably for the best. When he is awake he said it hurts more than before the surgery. He is a tough little guy and has been so great throughout all of this. What a trooper. Thank you to all our friends and family for their thoughts and prayers. We have passed them all onto J.
